The Power of Partnership: How FreshCut Fueled the ‘Super Easy Obby’ Game Launch

There are tons of cool games out there on Roblox, but it's not every day you see a partnership hit like we did with 'Super Easy Obby'. 

Evan, Developer at Superchromatic (Creator of Super Easy Obby) is a total visionary; the game is a blast, and it's showing everyone what a killer launch on Roblox looks like. We launched an exclusive Loot Quest which aligned with Evan’s game launch. The quest involved FreshCut users checking out the game, and they were rewarded with UGC items and in-app Cosmetics upon completion. It was a total hit, and here’s why: 

• 📈 70,000+ plays on DAY ONE? Yup!
• 🏆 Loot Quests Maxed Out: 10k items GONE in less than 24 hours (players were obsessed with this one tbh - if you didn’t get the UGC, you missed out).
• 💥 Our community exploded: 14,000+ new Roblox group members for Super Easy Obby, along with 800+ likes.
• 🔝 1,800+ people playing at the SAME TIME within minutes of our Loot Quest launch - up 1,700% within the first hour of quest launch.
• 🤝 People kept sticking around: Even after the initial hype, this game had serious staying power - with a 166% increase in CCU post FreshCut Loot Quest.

Meet Evan: The Mastermind Behind Super Easy Obby!

Q [FreshCut]: So Evan, how'd you get into making games? And what was the big idea behind 'Super Easy Obby'?

A [Evan]: My journey began with a childhood filled with game ideas and Roblox was the perfect outlet for those dreams. Noticing a gap in quality Obby games on Roblox, we conceived 'Super Easy Obby' to revolutionize the genre with a unique twist.

Q [FreshCut]: Building a game isn’t always easy. Any major hurdles you had to jump to make Super Easy Obby happen?

A [Evan]: Standing out meant focusing on high-quality VFX and SFX. Perfecting these aspects was crucial to differentiating our game from others.

Q [FreshCut]: Is there a part of  'Super Easy Obby' that really makes you smile, like something players go crazy for?

A [Evan]: Players love the “note block”-like stages, a testament to our game's unique appeal and creativity.

Q [FreshCut]: Tbf, that was our favorite part too! 😂 Anyways, spill the beans. What's on the horizon for 'Super Easy Obby'?

A [Evan]: We're excited about the "World 2" update, introducing new features like ziplines and hot air balloons, enhancing gameplay diversity.

Q [FreshCut]: Oh nice! So, what advice would you give to fans dreaming of creating their own Roblox game?

A [Evan]: Draw inspiration from popular games, add your unique spin, and create something you're passionate about playing!

Q [FreshCut]: Good to know… Okay, playtime! Besides your own awesome game, what are some Roblox experiences you're into right now?

A [Evan]: 'Watermelon GO', 'Pet Simulator 99', and 'Risky Strats' stand out for their innovation and fun gameplay.

Q [FreshCut]: We actually teamed up with Watermelon GO not too long ago and it was a fun project!  If you could team up with anyone for a game project, who would it be and why?

A [Evan]: Ryan Reynolds, for his unique and humorous perspective on game development.

Q [FreshCut]: Now THAT was a good answer! Okay so you can be honest… What was it like working with us for the launch of Super Easy Obby? 👀

A [Evan]: FreshCut made the process seamless, allowing us to focus on our game while effectively managing the campaign.

Q [FreshCut]: And finally, can you help us settle a debate in the office? Pineapple on pizza: a delicious combo or a total crime? 🍕

A [Evan]: It varies, but I'm generally open to the idea, depending on the day.
