We’re excited to reveal that HungryBox will be hosting a special edition of BoxReviews LIVE from the creator stage at Super Smash Con 2023. Read all about it below 👇
BoxReviews has become a staple of the Smash community, boasting hundreds of submissions uploaded to FreshCut on a monthly basis from top players, dedicated clippers, editors, and casual players. It's time to raise the stakes!
This special edition of BoxReviews will feature a panel of guest judges to be revealed in the coming days, unique prizing for top 8, giveaways for the crowd, and more surprises!
Rules
The rules for this special edition of BoxReviews are a bit different than usual, but still easy enough for anyone to submit.
- Submissions must uploaded to the Freshcut app using the #BoxReviews tag.
- Submissions must be no longer than 60 seconds, not contain copyrighted music, landscape format video, and of decent video quality.
- You may submit anything from amazing combo clips, edits, montages, meme/funny creations, crazy plays in bracket, and more as long as they meet rule #1.
- Participants are allowed a maximum of 5 submissions, but only their most viewed & engaged submission on the FreshCut app will make the cut for the LIVE show at Super Smash Con. Make sure to get your fans, community, and friends to support the submission you think is your best inside of FreshCut!
- Deadline for submissions is Thursday, August 10th at 11:59PM PST. Submissions uploaded after this deadline will not be eligible for this special edition of BoxReviews.
Prizing
- 1st: $1,000, + Paid trip to SSC 2024 ✈️ (Flight, hotel, and SSC 4 day pass. Restrictions apply)
- 2nd: $500, + Signed Custom SSC controller, + SSC 2024 4 day pass
- 3rd: $150, SSC Merch Bag, SSC 2024 4 day pass
- 4th: $150
- 5th: $50
- 6th: $50
- 7th: $50
- 8th: $50
